Membership Structure:
The association comprises the following member types:
Category A: Metallizers, whose activities encompass metallizing,coating,laminating of film and/or paper for various end-users & whose production is in Europe;
Category B: Relevant suppliers to 'Category A' members, film producers selling metallized products & whose production is in Europe;
Category C: Metallizers as in Category A above whose production is based outside Europe but who have a registered office or formal representation in Europe;
Category D: Consultants;
Category E: Academia; Category C,D and E do not have voting rights
EMA Membership Fee 2008
Membership head-office EUR 2000,- per year
Sister/daughter companies EUR 1000,- per year
Consultants EUR 2000,- per year
Academia EUR 500,- per year
Termination of membership
Every member may discontinue membership by giving three (3) months’ notice in a letter addressed to the Secretariat by registered mail.
If a member transfers ownership of his metallizing firm and if the business is carried on by the transferee, the right of membership shall not automatically be passed on to the transferee.
If a member is declared bankrupt and/or if a member terminates the activities of his company (as referred to in art. 3), the membership of the Association shall terminate with immediate effect.
The membership fee remains due for the entire calendar year in which the membership is terminated.
As a (prospective) member I accept the membership terms as stipulated in the Articles of the Association.
